My name is Pau Castillo Surià, I'm an archaeologist and since 2021, through "Surcast. Technology applied to heritage", I have been dedicated to the field of cultural heritage from different registers and methodologies with the aim of working for its study, management, conservation and difusion.
In the world of archaeology I have extensive experiencie in sites from all over the province of Girona such as: Empúries, Santa Creu de Rodes, Canònica de Santa Maria de Vilabertran, Mas Castellar, Montagut Castle, Montsoriu Castle, Sant Julià de Ramis, Calonge de Sant Antoni, Llafranc, Ullastret,...
Regarding the use of new technologies applied to heritage, I have participated in different projects such as the creation of the virtual collections of the Museu de l'Empordà, the Ecomuseum Farinera and the Museum of Medieval History Cúria - Presó, s. XIV of Castelló d'Empúries, the Terracota Museu de la Bisbal d'Empordà and the Institute of Empordà Studies.
I consider myself a responsible person, fully dedicated to a job well done the satisfaction of the client and who stands out for the ability to collaborate and work together with professionals from many different fields: Archaeology, architecture, topography, conservation, restoration, archives, museography among others.
